Where did the weekend go? I sit here on Sunday morning in my jammies needing do to do so many things. Xander has FOUR water polo games today split between 2 location, UofC Irvine and CDM (Corona Del Mar) starting at 7:15 this morning. Bob thankfully took him to his first game and we will all join him for the remaining three. I'll post pictures if I get any good ones!
Hannah had a soccer game yesterday that Bob took her to. I had a photo shoot down in San Marcos and couldn't be in 2 places at once however Bob said that the team really just "wasn't in to it today", what do you expect from a gaggle of 5 year olds, LOL! He took pictures for me with the "old fashioned camera" as our kids call it, you know, the one that requires film? I thought that was quite funny. Cameras are not something we have a shortage of in our house both film and digital, we are all budding photogs. We just gave Xander one of our Canon film cameras so that he can work on his PTA Reflections project and because he really also wants to learn how to be a good photographer. He certainly has the eye for detail to do it!
I woke up at 4am on Friday morning, drove up to Long Beach with a friend to attend the Womanaire Extraordinaire two day Conference for women business builders. It was so much fun. Truthfully, I was dreading going because I really didn't feel like I was ready for something like that in my own biz, however what I discovered and learned was amazing and awesome and it was exactly what I needed for my business right now. I have a very clear and level head and will be working on so many things over the next 6-7 months, branding, marketing, a better website, financial infrastructure and so on and so forth! This is something I have wanted to do for years and years and to finally take the plunge (upon the insistence of many, many friends) it is liberating. It is a conference I am already looking forward to attending next year. http://www.womanaire.net/
Hannah and Christian are clamoring for food, so I need to run, get them fed, bathed and on the road. Bob and I will catch with all of you again later after polo games and football games --- GO PANTHERS!
XOXOXO
