The band...

After being invited to play in the middle school talent show and then being "dismissed" because all the boys in the band didn't not go to the school, they were finally asked back to play to the waiting crowd. It actually worked out better because they got to play more songs to the same crowd and it was in a more relaxed environment. It was fun for them and they did great, all the "band moms" were very proud of our boys.
They are still looking for a singer, Xander wants a girl however we have a boy that they may potentially give the gig to for now. They are also still looking for a bassist. They've had a few inquiries but nothing has worked out yet. I am positive that they will get all they need very soon and be a full bonafide band! Their band coach and guitar teachers have already secured locations for them to play once they have a full band and can entertain a crowd with at least a full set of 10-12 songs. They are really working hard (for as hard as 12 and 13 year olds work, wink) and have set their sights on playing to a full stadium in London..... nice to have lofty aspirations!

Way to go, guys! While we may not get to make a live performance, we look forward to your first CD!
